Its all go here at JWP Towers! Stuff really is ramping up and I am totally loving it!

So, first of all, the Cambridge Wedding Fair by Wedding Exhibitions UK at Anstey Hall was a huge success! I had loads of people come and chat to me, let me know about their big day. I even had one couple who had their photographer already come and tell me everything about their incredible wedding they are going to have in New Zealand! And was lovely of them to say they would have hired me if they hadn’t already got their photographer! Thanks to all those who came to chat. I had an absolute blast!

I was lucky enough to be the photographer for one very special wedding last weekend too at the rather lovely and quaint and GORGEOUS Thatch Barn in Yelling Without going into detail, the day become an extra special emotional one on the day and it was poignant, fun filled, happy and sad all at the same time. But what a day. Simple, elegant, lovely. The bride looked amazing in a bespoke dress with a peacock feather motif everywhere. In fact, that was the theme of the day. The motif ran through everything, from table places, cake, you name it. But what an effect! So different! And lovely!

It was such a fab vibe all through this wedding. Unconventional, yet traditional. Different yet oddly familiar, it was a pleasure to photograph. Here’s to the bride and groom and many more years!

Coming up I am official photographer for the Cambridge Tent Company’s open day on October 6th at a destination between Newport and Saffron Walden on the border of Essex and Cambridgeshire. Not only are the company displaying all three types of their tents, tipis and marquees for the first time together, but there is going to be a host of other suppliers dressing and showing off the tipis as they would be in a real world situation. Dressers, designers, planners, food suppliers, live music, videographers and photographers, of which…..well, just told you I was going to be one didn’t I?! Its going to be an awesome day working with people who want to give a really cool and interesting alternative to the traditional wedding venue. They are a very cool company, I know some of the suppliers and trust me, they are the best in the business. If you’re getting married, recently engaged and thinking about starting your planning, wanting something different for your wedding, or know anyone who is all of the above, then come along, say hi to us all, have a look around, get inspired! I cannot wait! Below are some of the official pictures from them and if you click the link below, you can get a PDF with a bit more insight into who is going to be there and how to get there!!!

How cool is this? ^^^ Yeah……awesome eh?

Then at the end of September, I am shooting an incredible wedding at an incredible venue with a fantastic and fun couple and I can’t wait! Devonshire Terrace is situated right in the heart of London’s financial district and is a bit super cool and different and its just going to be spectacular! Watch this space for images when the wedding is done as no doubt they are going to rock!

November is bringing me back to what I have done for a few years now and its an honour and privilege to do and that is the Christmas photos for the local day care and nursery. I love doing these photos! Hard work, as the average age is usually well under 4!!! But so so rewarding! I get to muck about and be a big kid and the parents love what I do with the photos. I give them something a little bit different to your standard school photos and they go down a storm! Here’s to a new bunch of kids showing off and being awesome!

Then into December I have the last show I am attending this year and its yet another absolute cracker….back at Anstey Hall. This time its the Rustic Wedding Show and its going to top the year off really nicely. These guys really are aimed at a whole different bunch of people…..bohemian, alternative, free thinking, non-traditional….right up my street! They are such good fun and really offer a very different alternative to the usual wedding fair or exhibit suppliers who can make your wedding that bit different and stand out. Hence I had to jump on board when the opportunity came knocking! Its going to be a heck of a lot of fun! Click the link and check them out and come and say hi again if you’re looking to give your wedding day that kick of something a little bit different….

So busy busy busy! I am still taking bookings for 2019, but they are rapidly filling up, so if you want to chat about anything or interested in meeting up for a chinwag about your day, then get in touch! 2020 bookings open, lets get that filled too! Spread the word, come say hi, wherever I am!
