How I work at weddings
Am I the person for your wedding day?
Why do I do this job? Good question. Because its a heck of a lot of fun! Honestly, where else is everyone happy, having an awesome time as much as a wedding? And I wanted to enjoy my job and I enjoy photography and weddings, so….combine the two! And if you’re feeling nervous or awkward, I get it. I felt the same on my wedding day. I want you to have the time of your life without feeling worried about the photos. And if that means I have to make myself look daft, get people laughing, mingle and just be part of the day to capture the “real” you and your guests, then the right photographer for your wedding day will be someone you “click” with. That’s why I do this job. I blummin’ love it!
There will be none of that “look this way, move your hand here, say cheese!” stuff.
I’m not going to ask you to “smile for the camera”. I mean, probably the worst thing in the world to say to someone is “smile” when taking their photos. I my word….AWKWARD. The half smile, the strange gurning, the forced fun….bleugh! Let’s get giggling, be yourselves, let’s capture that instead. SO much more you!
We will absolutely get the couples shots, but I want to get that feeling of you just being married and actually enjoying that! So a couple of sessions here and there to get the silly giggles, the realisation of what’s happened, the daft faces only you make with each other and maybe the odd romantic portrait if you like….but it won’t impinge on your day, I promise that. Let’s go have some fun.

My style is fun, vibrant, and full of character. Hopefully the style of my photos LOOK like how I have described getting them!
I’ll blend in, but I'm also not going to stand silently on the sidelines and watch the day pass by. I want to have fun too! My past couples have said I made their guests feel super comfortable and have joined in, forgot I was the photographer and they loved having me there. Which is good. As then I get the best photos haha!
Ultimately you're going to have the best time and I promise you you will be proud to show these photos off to anyone!
